At the crossroads of a new era, Education remains a key framework for communicating knowledge, skills and cultural values but also for reflecting on our ever-changing world. At the same time, it is called upon to respond to the ever-changing and competing views of what is considered “good education” and “essential learning”.

The purpose of the 2nd e-Conference is to talk with the experts about the ways in which Education continues to change in the context of new communication technologies and globalization, but also about issues of democracy in teaching and learning.

We invite all those involved in Education and the sciences of Education, teachers and future teachers, people of non-formal education, adult educators, education executives, higher education professors and those interested in research and education to trace the emerging landscape of formal and non-formal education and the new ecologies that are evolving and raising questions of technology, culture and democracy in teaching and learning.

The conference is organized by Learn Inn EKPA of the Center of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which specializes in Education and Training in Education.  ΤThe 2nd e-Conference is formed according to the philosophy of Learn Inn EKPA. It includes:

a) Keynote speeches by very important international scientists and executives of Greek Education, with whom we will have the chance to discuss,

b) two special interest e-round tables for discussion and information

c) presentation/event and a workshop within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 project Student Teachers’ Practices for Democratic Culture (STEP UP- DC).

The conference will be online and the participation is free.

The language of the conference is Greek. During the sessions that use the English language there will be the option of interpretation in Greek.
